Hello and welcome to the Household Liquidation Services website. My name is Mimi DeBurger. I founded this company in February of 2006. My vision for Household Liquidation Services was to help families and individuals needing to liquidate personal property in the Ocala, Florida area while, at the same time, earning a profit that would sustain the business. I recognized a growing need for these services based on the size of our senior population here in central Florida. I'm happy to say that Household Liquidation Services has fulfilled that original vision. Comments from just a few of my clients on the Testimonial page are evidence of this accomplishment.
Over the years Household Liquidation Services has used several methods to help liquidate personal property. I have purchased all unwanted property while bartering clean up services as part of the Sales Agreement. I have had private sales, liquidating specialty property to the highest bidders. I have also conducted Estate Sales, open to the public. No matter which method I have used, the goal has been to provide needed services and to realize the maximum financially.
All of these processess have worked out very well for many families needing assistance in the past. However, I have run into one major problem. There are more families needing help than Household Liquidation Services can possibly accommodate. I have found that many of the individuals who call simply need to know their options. It has become clear, from the calls I have received from all over the country, that there is a serious lack of information online. People need to know about their choices when it's time to liquidate personal property in the north central Florida area.
Every individual situation is different. In some cases the goal is to empty a home as fast as possible. In others there is a need to realize as much financial gain as possible. I hope to develop this website into one that provides all of the information you might need in one convenient location.

There are several options for property liquidation in the Marion County area. I have added a page, located on or under the menu bar at the left side of this page, about: Auctions, Consignment Stores, In Home Tag Sales (Estate Sales), Tax Deductible Donations, or "Do it Yourself" direct sales.
On each page I plan to give my personal insight into the ups or downs of the venue. All of the options are viable. You will need to make the decision about which option is best for you depending on your needs and personal preferences.
